With a smile, I said: Obviously I know.

He continued: Then I ask you something I learned from my friend. Do you know what does WTF stand for?

How should I answer? Anyone care to enlighten me?

A movie about human using robot as surrogates.

After watching the DVD, I must say that … the movie COULD HAVE been so much better. It has a good plot, but… sigh, the producer never explore such areas.

The movie only showcased how good and convenient it was in using surrogates. The story never successfully tell us why we should shunt the use of such robots.

Tom Greer disliked surrogates. He pleaded with his wife to stop using it. Again, the movie fail to portray the depth of his unhappiness and dislike, which drove him to such drastic action at the end of the movie.

Inevitably, one would compare Surrogates with I-robot. For me at least, I-robot win by a clear margin.

Out of frustration, I called the Citibank helpline.

He cordially answered: Oh. There was a problem with our system. It could not generate the statement for you.

I was furious: And you will still charge me a fee for overdue, even if your system could not generate the statement?

He remained silent.

Unlike the more popular beach, here you could still see plenty of such crabs hurrying around.

I got bored and we decided to look for wife. When we were walking around, son said grudgingly:

“I told you to bring along the GPS unit!”

I was stunned, and asked: Why would we need a GPS unit in here?

Son looked at me (as if I am an imbecile with no hope of understanding any technology) and berated: TV showed that we can use GPS unit to pinpoint the exact location of anyone. We would not need to walk around to look for mummy!

My oh my. Has human regress so badly that we need a GPS unit to locate lost soul in Clothing section which takes up all of the 2 aisles? Sigh.
