I always thought that a kiss is something … that just happened.
Apparently not.
There is this young couple who always stand in front of my clinic, and kiss … away. Same time everyday, standing on the same spot.
I never pay much attention to them, until one of my nurse regularly say: Poor man.
Only then (already kissing there for more than a couple of months) I noticed there was something not right. It was always the guy who stood nearer… and nearer … and tentatively tilt his face toward the girl. The girl would just stood there with her sourly face (I swear have seen much more cheerful faces at a funeral). If the kiss actually did take place (half the time the girl would just turn away), the lady would still be wearing her mask of death through the kiss.
Dang.
That’s not the worst.
A couple of days ago, while the guy was making his move (poor man, you have no idea what you are stepping into) the girl suddenly turn her face towards the guy and gave him a fierce stare. (the kind of fierce stare that will make a gunnery sergeant proud). In a swift movement, she pushed the guy further away, extended her arm, slipped her hand into the guy’s pocket, then removed his wallet. She extracted all the cash from the wallet (except a couple of 1 ringgit notes), then disgruntledly chucked the wallet towards the guy. A very very tiny hint of smile appear on her face, and … then only … she turned her face, and hinted to the guy to proceed with the … kiss.
Woah! Talked about modern day kiss!
no money no kiss! hehe
