I was filling up my Borang B 2008, and I suddenly realized something amiss.
I couldn’t figure out the problem, until I finished the whole process (crack my head / pulled out my hair) and finally placed the stack of forms onto the rack. Eh? Where were the other stack of forms? The CP 500?

Oh shoot. I have to pay at the bank on 1 July. Where had I placed the form?
After looking high and low for it, I decided that it would not be found. I placed a phone call to LHDN, and related my … mistakes to them. To my surprise, the lady on the other end was really nice. She never utter any impolite sentences (which I fully expected)
ie:
1) You are so careless!
2) We will not tolerate your mistake. You will be charged for that.
3) Can’t you even take care of your own property?
Instead, she just requested my serial number with a neutral tone. Then she even ask: You want me to fax it to you?
Wow. I got it within 5 minutes! Talk about efficiency!



You will be surprised… nowadays govt service improved a lot already. Even EPF will give you amazing service.

As a civil servant myself, I feel redeemed
Lesson to be learnt:
Be polite even when you are robbing some fella of his money,
he will be ever soooo grateful !
