As my camera is coming near to the end of its lifespan, I am looking around for a replacement.
After reading through multiple reviews, this Canon Powershot G10 really got me drooling.
Hope it is as user friendly as it claimed to be.

mott, I am sure you have realised (by now) that it is not quite feasible to bring a few kids AND a DSLR for any outing
What do you think about the new Sony Cybershots? They are really slim cameras, so it’s easy to carry around (important feature for bloggers!). Make sure the camera has video capture function too if possible.
Anyway I would still recommend that you get an entry level DSLR if you are really into photography. Otherwise if for casual photos then the Canon G10 looks great!

For RM1999 you could get a Canon 1000D…but with the bulk and weight. I’m so tempted to get one to replace my mediocre Sony Cybershot for general photography.

i’ll got 1 this canon G10, i win prize from my office party… this is my bos choices coz he use this damn thing too…. and his wife also.. they use to take picture around the world to take site image, resort, hotel, scenery…..without any xtra accesories & lens…. for my office party at andaman, they buy 3 to gift for staff..
