Hectic Lifestyle

Some of us in the city are really burdened by the hectic lifestyle.

I saw one such man this morning.

He was busy text messaging in the waiting area outside the consultation room, while waiting for his turn.

hectic lifestyle

When he was called into the consultation room, he slipped the phone into his pocket.

After he finish relaying his sickness to me, and I stood up to get my thermometer…

he whipped out his phone and continued with his messaging!

thermometer

Yes. You read correctly. He SMS with a thermometer in his mouth.

When I removed the thermometer, and proceeded to listen to his lungs, he just continue with his SMS session, without batting an eye.

Pity him. I guess he really doesn’t have enough time to spend everyday.

Actually I always don’t understand why people like text messaging, I never enjoy doing it, as it makes my thumb painful. haha~~ Perhaps lacking of practice makes me type really slow, I’d rather make a call.
I saw some of my colleagues typing sms in the conference room, when we are having meeting or seminar too, I just think it’s kind of not respectful to the speaker and audience too. (Well, personal opinion. :p)

well, at least he slipped it into his pocket and talk to u, better than those who might aceli tell u “wait ya, let me finish this sms (and type a lengthy sms)”

hectic lifestyle? yeah, that contributes but i think some just enjoy sms-ing.
there are housewives or teenangers who will even sms while the dentist’s drill running in his mouth! cool….. :-)
