This is a book written about a few pre-adolescent / teens from Lansdale. They were growing up in a horse farm. Though away from busy city life, they still had to go through the normal peer pressure / teens fighting and constantly trying to prove themselves to everyone around them.
As the fighting gotten worst, their mums decided to let these five young women journey into the wood to come to term with themselves. Unforeseen by anyone, this journey brought the five women and their Icelandic horses centuries into the past. The Ice Horses developed some strange capabilities that no one expected. There, they must join their force to fight against evil …
The book is centered on a few adolescent ladies, thus we can safely presume the target crowd would be teens and adolescent. The language used is rather simple. The writer has elaborated in rather ‘teens’ way too i.e the IM conversation
The communication between the girls and those horses is really cool. It reminded me of another book where the dragon communicate in a certain way with its rider.
I would say that the book will be a rather interesting read for most teens.
