My son got an invitation for his friend’s birthday celebration, at the McD outlet (Mutiara Damansara).

We arrived on time to see that quite a few kids were already there. Needless to say, the kids will enjoy themselves at the slide while the few parents who were around would sit together to talk about … their kids.

What surprised me was the number of parents who were present. There were about 10 kids, but with only 2 parents around. Where had they gone to? Shopping at the nearby Tesco or Ikea?

Anyway, after a while, a McDonald personnel turn up to play some simple games with the children. After each session, the children were given small gift. Nice of McDonald!

Of course, then came the cake-cutting session. This kid had chosen a Pokemon drawing for his cake.

There was supposed to be a ‘clown’ to assist in the session, but … suffice to say that the clown wasn’t cute or adorable at all! He kinda scared my kids, haha. No idea why McDonald would choose such a character as their clown.
