Last few days, I really had a shock.
The LCD screen of my camera suddenly turn blank!
Whenever I switch on my camera, I would be just staring at a blank screen. I had to ‘estimate’ then point and shoot at something. Surprisingly though, after I shot the photo, the LCD screen would show me a brief preview of the photo before turning blank again.
Sigh. I guessed the camera had come to the end of its life span. I would need to shop for a new partner.
Out of desperation, I googled for any similar situation encounter by other netizens.

After reading through multiple articles and various forums, I stumbled upon this line:
Are you sure you didn’t just accidentally press onto the DISP button?
I was like … huh? What button?
Immediately I grabbed the camera and press on that button.
Like magic, the LCD panel came back to life! Yeah. Hurray.
Thanks to Google power. ^-^

Luckily u didnt send for repair… haha
Actually you can still use the manual viewfinder right? But I had a bad experience with a Canon digital camera, so now I’m sticking with Nikon

Then Chen will say: hami hami ?

That’s the reason in my career line (technical) we always got this reminder R.T.F.M. (Read The F**king Manual). Anyway good for you finding out new things on your cam.
Haha Yenjai, I think “Melon” is still better than “Sotong”. By the way I don’t know anyone who owns more cameras than Chen
