Anyone using this fan?

Posted in Uncategorized on Aug 22nd, 2008, 8:37 am by yenjai

I am contemplating replacing my old ceiling fan.

When I asked my usual technician, he suggested this fan.

panasonic fan yuragi

It is the fan with Yuragi function. What is Yuragi?

I quote:

A unique feature that incorporates the natural rhythmic breeze which is soothing and relaxing to human’s body rather than a constant and stagnant air delivery.

Anyone has actually tried this? Have this installed at home?

1) Is the wind strong enough?

2) Does it last? (will the fan be spoilt within 2 years?)

3) Is it worth the price?
(Almost Rm400)

Thanks for any feedback.

So sorry Doc… a fan is a fan is a fan is a fan, to me. yuragi or hiraji makes no difference to me. as long as it keeps the place cool…it’s ok. One thing I found is as long as you wipe the blades everyweek, it’ll run efficiently.

I’ve never heard of this, but it does seem rather expensive to me.

I think normal (cheaper) fans do the job quite well, I mean we have been using all this while right? I would rather to use the money to buy air cond.

Am using its predecessor The Bayu…I agree with mott, that a fan is a fan is a fan. Rather costly for a ceiling fan, but sup sup sui for yenjai la ;)

I haven’t heard of this ceiling fan. I used standing fans.

My house gets sea breeze and sometimes it is too windy, fixing a ceiling fan, I’m afraid it will crashed down on me. haha….

Bayu has 5 blades and remote control function…but is still just a fan. Aesthetically more pleasant than the conventional white ceiling fan, but functionally pretty similar.
