Orientation Week

Read on Dobbs blog about the recent Orientation Week.

It did bring back loads of memories, especially about the room given to us.

We were given a tiny room, shared by EIGHT of us. Imagine that!

Obviously we had to sleep on double deckers, and Dobbs were right in saying that there would be no way for us to study in the room.

How did I got through the first year?

Fortunately, I have an uncle and aunt who were as kind as Dobbs, whom allowing me to stay in their place for every weekend. That really made those days ‘bearable’, sort of.

I am forever indebted.

    u mean u shared a room with 7 other coursemates or uni mates during your first year?

    At least mine is better (KTDI in Jalan Temerloh, KL)..
    2 people sharing one room, and it’s not double decker bed :P
    Neh, one bed at each side of the wall wan.. :)

    u share with all guys of course la.. if share with some girls.. i think u dun wanna stay with yr undle and aunty edi .

    Yo..that was horrible. I was lucky we only squeeze 4 in a room, and later one gave up her place and left with 3 which means 1 sleeps on the floor on routine. You must be staying in 2nd college in my vague memory…was it 2nd or 6th ?

    Ahh.
    During orientation, I stayed in 5th for a week.
    Together with Bernard dai gor.
    I kinda like the environment in 5th
