Sufiah Yusof

I guess everyone knows about the story of Sufiah Yusof now.

What irked me is the response from Prime Minister Department.

Zahid Hamidi, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, said that they are interested to assist Ms Yusof to return to the right path through the “Save Sufiah Program.” The program is headed by the Deputy Minister, Datuk Dr Mashitah Ibrahim, in the Prime Minister’s Department. They will suggest strategies to help Sufiah.

Though we are supposed to be compassionate, are we forgetting our own problem?

We try to save (educate) someone who is a British Citizen currently residing in UK? Create a program for a single person? And we forget about the hundreds of thousands of strayed youth in our own country? Is there such a program locally to help them?

This is always the style… whenever some big issue hits the front page of newspaper, you see all sorts of promises. When the news fades away… everyone also forgets their promises.

Well I think Sufiah should help herself. She’s a genius - surely she can think for herself. Who are we to meddle in her affairs? Sorry, I feel no sympathy for her.

Who said Sufiah needs the PM’s help to get into the right path? It is a joke to me. I think all they want is publicity and desire to look good cos of their religion. Don’t they have better things to do????

I saw her interview. She had no remorse at all and said she never been “happier”. She gets sexual gratification as she has high sex drive and at the same time she gets paid. She is proud to be a ‘high class’ pros. Another thing is that those rich men adore her and shower her with expensive gifts. She even rejected an offer to be somebody’s mistress, saying that she is enjoying life now and didnt want to be ‘tied down’ to one man.

My jaw nearly dropped in bewilderment when I saw the interview video. That’s the way of life. Who can say she is wrong, despite the fact that it is a deviant act? No one put a knife on her throat and force her into vice … it is her choice!!!
