Six Unimportant facts About me (part 1)

1) When I was young, I have plenty of EFND moments.

Obviously, there wasn’t PS2 / Wii around to waste our time.

We don’t tax our fingers text our days away.

So … unlike chen who decided to torture animals I spent my time observing ants.

I could spent the whole afternoon watching ants scrambling from their home to their food, lifted it and moved in a single line back to their home.

six unimportant facts

I found it very fascinating. How they can moved all in a single file really perplexed my young mind.

At times, I would ‘accidentally’ spilled a drop of water in their path. They would just curve around the obstacles, and continue moving in their single file. Cool beyond imagination.

One day, I found that they actually manage to move a big piece of food to their house.

Alas. The entrace of their house is too small!

Me being the hero, decided to take matter into my hand. I use a tooth pick to ‘refurbish’ their entrace. After 30 seconds of work, the entrace could easily accomodate a finger.

Ngeh ngeh ngeh. So proud of myself then ^-^

Wah, i also like you leh! I like ants when I was young. Till now, I still dunno the name of the ant genus that I was fascinated with. The workers are black and tiny, but the soldier ants and the queens are HUGE (between 1cm to 2cm) and they have big powerful heads and jaws. The tiny workers also like the ride on the soldiers like the men on the elephants. Tell me if you know the name of this ant.

Of course I am biased and I totally dislike the kerengga ants (big red aggressive ants that have a foul smell and bite painful)
