Chinese New Year (pt 2)

To avoid going to restaurant for our reunion dinner on the first day of CNY, we choose to have steamboat at home.

With nine adult and six kids, we even had difficulty coming up with enough ’sha bou ngang chang’, haha.

But we couldn’t even finish all the food. We simply forgotten that we eat much less than we were during teens. Duh.

Second day of CNY, FIL and MIL insist that we must eat yee sang.

Off we went to a restaurant.

Obviously it will be followed by the usual 10 course dishes.

Hmm… time to lost some weight now…

That’s what my family use to do, have steamboat at home, we nvr eat at restaurants during CNY eve, some how being at home is more relax, oso the kids can play as much as they want to, at retaurants we have to watch that they dun run amok and disturb other diners.
