After the first two year ‘free period’, they will start charging fee for my Citibank platinum card.

citibank platinum card

So I just follow what everyone else is doing: Write them an email claming keh-si keh-si I want to cancel the card

Today, the ‘annual fee waiver’ department called me.

He informed me that he will charge me annual fee of Rm195 but …

if I signed on for 3 autopayment account, he will waive my annual fee for 3 years.

Cool.

Just give him my Syabas , Telekom and Tenaga Bill.

He auto pay for me, then waived my fee.

Yeah.

Who said everyone else is doing the same thing? I don’t. I just cancel. How dare they charge ECL for using their cards? I’m promoting their card when I use it.

oi…. why do you think I’ll never admit (to my crime)? You have such low opinion of me?

Adultery is not crime, ok. If I commit adultery with Kwon Sang Woo, for sure I’ll 敲锣打鼓 and inform all the media!!! mwahahahaha……

Of course. You different ma. YOu are a brand name by yourself, ok?
Just go out and shout : ECL lai liao
Wah. People will line up to get your autograph, ok? ^-^

It is not a low opinion. Contrary, I think in Asian Culture, admitting to it is rather un-political.

Err … you mean … widen the column, is it?

    我们都会直接开门见山叫他waive掉。其事,他们也知道customers都是假假说要cancel的啦。

I also call the hotline and ask for the annual fee waiver. No need to threaten to cancel your credit card la. Just ask nicely. Usually they just ask for a nominal commitment like use your card once a month or something like that.
