Curious

I am curious who design this.

curious

I thought we all have been ‘brainwashed’ that the left button means Accept, while the right button means Cancel, no?

(even the mouse are designed that way)

Then why this genius put the Login on the right, and Clear on the left?

I don’t know how many times I have pressed the wrong button. ( and I don’t think I am the only one making the mistake)

And seriously, I think the whole “Clear” button has been there to confused us.

Care to explain to me why you put a Clear button there? You mean there is some keyboard around without Backspace?

Shouldn’t that button be reduced to the size of the normal “if you lost your password” thingy?

It only shows that the one who design it, are not really the one who use this thing regularly.

    Talk about customer friendly

wuching A lot of things has ‘predetermine’ rule, which we always take for granted, until it is done wrongly.
Just like screw are all designed to go in one direction?

Firehorse You are one lucky lady who doesn’t have to worry about such nitty gritty stuff :P

I have gone to check the JavaScript for the login page… by clicking Clear, the page will reset the form (clear off all entered values) and also reset some variables.

I guess they are doing this for security purposes, especially useful for those using the maybank2u website from a public computer or kiosk :P

But you’re right, it’s better to have the ‘Login’ button come before the ‘Clear’ or ‘Cancel’ button.

Quick, email this complain to http://www.maybank2u.com.my/site_functions/contact_us/feedback_new.html !

    Hehe

I never give a thought on that issue - coz everytime after typing in the password, i automatically hit the “enter” button on the keyboard, and it will login. :)

    通常password过后,我就直接enter,根本没机会去按login…… so, 你不讲我还不知道。。
