Your work

I have a very simple … reasoning here, to see how many weeks you Actually work in a year.

Assuming, you work 5 days / week and 52 weeks every year.

That is 40 work hour per week.

Then … assuming you spend an hour travelling to your work.

your work

That means 1 x 2 x 5 x 52 / 40 = 13 weeks

You actually have 13 extra working weeks every year! (lets count it as work, as it is spent travelling TO work)

So in a 52 weeks year, we work 65 weeks.

Do you work more than that, or less?

ECL That means, we have wasted too much time ‘on the road’.
It could have been used for better purpose

My working hour is 8.45am till 5.15pm, which is 8.5 hours.
Everyday, i spend at least half an hour for breakfast, 2 hours for lunch, and another half an hour for tea break…hehe
For the rest of 5.5 hours, minus another half an hour time at office, i have around 5 hours to work.
In this 5 hour, half of it used on travelling… Actually my real working hour only around 3 hours per day… hehe
    * Not including time used on doing personal matter….

I only work 37.5 hours a week. We adopt flexible working hours, if I work 40 hours this week, I need only to work 35 hours next. I become lazy with this flexible working hours, however, when the mood come, I can build up 1 day (7.5 hours) flexi holiday in 2 weeks, so yeah.

And I only spend 15-20 minutes to travel to work!
