Coming to the end of 2007.
I started doing some accounting, and then I notice something amiss.
The list of ‘patient owe money’ keep getting longer!

In chinese, we will call it ‘ it goes the length of whole street’ (yud tiu gai gum chiong).
Scratch head.
How to recover these bad debt?
Some has been on the list for 24 months!

Yenjai, you should watch this movie - Georgia’s Rule - there is a segment where Lindsay Lohan’s character managed to get this clinic’s longtime debtor to pay up - you might wanna get a receptionist like her
Ouh.. I didn’t know we can hutang our doctors!
Seriously…got credit facility one meh?
wa too kind of u d…
nevermind…
u can choose to collect ur bad debts by doing factor…
where u sell all the bad debts to a company who collects debt..
there they will pay u a sum of money..and u don have to worry anymore…
the person u owes u have to deal with them…
its a legal thing type of debt collection so no worries…
learnd in business studies..hahaha
Jewelle Haha. I will try to look for the movie, but unless I am very much mistaken, Lindsay Lohan’s character … is not someone … ‘honourable’? Haha
pelf Sigh
fibrate If the patient say he didn’t bring money, are you going to deny him his treatment?
Hi, first time to your blog~
Would it be possible that they ‘forgot’ to you intentionally?
write a letter to say that they hv owned u money and mention if they do not pay u back by a certain dateline, then an official letter from ur letter will be posted to them to claim back and a police report will be made too? can ’scared’ them this way to pay up?
Sean Highly likely.
Some ‘continue to forget’ even after SMS reminder
winnie Then probably they will ‘brand’ you as ‘unkind’ and ‘cold hearted’?
wah.. i dunno can hutang wan..
MIne date back to 2 yrs also..Hutang lapuk dy la…Call them remind also , they buat dunno..If next time we ask whether they bring enough money before we give treatment , they say we so money face..Liddat lor..
huh….. 没钱也可看医生哦!我也是现在才知道。
Yes, indeed a good doctor who keeps to the hippocratic oath who puts the noble cause of treating the sick before anything else.
:)
In accounting terms, write ‘em off!
Am also ignorant of the fact that we can owe docs.
