This week theme - PAPER

Mooncake festival is just around the corner.

photo hunters paper

My kids’ kindergarten decided to hold a small gathering for the kids and their parents.

Of course, lanterns will be everywhere on such occasion.

Though parents will buy those plastic lantern (with music) for their kids at home, we will still bring Paper Lantern for such occasion.

It is just the culture.

Aww.. This reminds me of my long-gone childhood, LOL. BTW, my grandparents own a paper paraphernalia shop in Ipoh, and we used to be awed by the number and variety of the lanterns when we were small.

We would play with them, test the battery-operated ones, we sold candles at a time when 3 boxes cost RM 1, and we kids tried to sell as many lanterns as possible — it felt good to be able to talk somebody into buying something, LOL.
