You are on your way home from work.
Approaching a traffic light. Suddenly the light turn green. Fuiyoh, pass through.
Reach another traffic light. It also turned green. Again, smooth travel.
For the next eight traffic light to your house, all the same. Green all the way.
This ever happen to you?
Yeah, right. In your dream.
But I guess the reverse will be true.
Every time you are going towards the traffic light, it will turn red. Same for the next, and next …
If it happen to you, what usually you do?
You will be cursing? Banging your dashboard? Blaming the weather, the government …
Or you will just think: Statistically, you are more likely to see red than green?
In Singapore, on a stretch of road, there can be several traffic lights. And it really irks me, becos they are timed to turn red after you have just breeze passed one green light. Go stop go stop go stop……

Sometimes, worst still. The green light just doesn’t turn on.
The traffic light simply gone hay-wired.
I thought these things only happen to me. Always first car at the stop sign (coz the light turns red when I approach). That’s why never buy lottery all my life. :p

Such things really happen, you know?! I have to pass 12 traffic lights from KT back home, and if I pass a green light, all other lights would be green. Of course, if one is red, all others would be red too, and it could be very frustrating!
To answer your question: I am more likely to meet RED lights
It always seems that the lights are always red when I’m in a hurry!
It is a nuisance when the car in fron doesn’t drive fast enough and that causes me to be caught at the red traffic lights. That said, I am thankful there are traffic lights,if not, there will be chaos on the road
