What is the point of doing a study, if you don’t intend to do anything about it?
Only about 30% of the country’s 40,000 registered Class F contractors are active and undertaking their jobs genuinely, said Deputy Works Minister Datuk Mohd Zin Mohamed.
Mohd Zin also questioned the purpose of a single family holding on to between five and 10 Class F licences.
“In many families, the father, the son, the brother, all hold Class F licences. Are they only interested in becoming commission earners?
And can we ask how do someone get their licence as Class F contractor?
Don’t you do any background check on them? The ministry never realise the father, brother, and grandmother already a Class F contractor?

is Class F better than Class A?
Eric I never know about Class A
Class F is the highest grade, as far as I know.
this is ali-baba business.
didn’t you realize that the my gov is very good at doing study (spend money), but no action.
hanneng Then only they will have excuse to ask for allocation +.+”
this explain the poor quality of most of the construction jobs.
these so call class F contractors got the awards, pass to somebody to do the jobs and themselves pocket in big cash doing nothing, and these ’somebody’ properly pass on to others to do the works, with so many tiers involved, the margin of profits had been stripped down. in order to squeeze some profit (or not to make a lose), the only way to save cost is to use second quality material with unskilled laborers..
the new economic policy itself is a scum, what a shame.
with China India and Indonesia catching up, I don’t see why investors would want to invest in Malaysia. with 20 odd millions populations, the spending power is a lot less compare to the countries mentioned.
Eric you hit the nail on its head
