Speedometer

While I was driving him to the kindergarten, my 6-year-old son suddenly point at the speedometer and ask: What is this for?

I explained: This is to show how fast your car is travelling. It is a speedometer.

speedometer tachometer

Then he ask: There is another one beside. What does it do?

Hmm… tachometer … this is tough, how to explain?

While I was phrasing my word in my mind, he said: I know, I know the answer.

I am surprised: What is it for?

He said happily: It is for NITROX

My jaw dropped. I … looked at him, he looked at me. For 3 seconds, there was total silence.

Then I burst out laughing. He laughed too.

Nitrox??! What? You think I am driving AE86?

Wah, what kind of cartoon this boy has been watching?

I am still laughing when I write this post. Boy oh boy …
