I guess the meaning of fake means : Though it looks real, but it is not the real thing?
This looks like a real bus, but in fact it is not.
It is my son’s toy. Looks real at the first glance, eh?

Having lived in Japan and Korea, yeah, it looks real. But not too many pink buses in the U.S.A.
