TV rosak liao

Last week, my TV suddenly decided to shut down when my son was watching his favourite cartoon.

Hmm….

My neighbourhood TV serviceman came to take the TV away.

Before he left, I told him: Tell me how much it will cost to repair the TV. Anything more than RM300, I might as well get a new set.

samsung tv slimfit

While we are waiting for it, we went around looking at TV sets.

Wife: What is the price for those 32″ LCD TV?

Me: RM3999

Wife: Samsung slimfit leh?

Me: RM1999

Wife: Is the picture of LCD superior?

Me: Not really. CRT TV still produce the best picture quality. The ‘better’ breed of LCD TV, name OLED, is still….

Wife: Then why everyone is buying LCD TV?

Me: err…. maybe that is the IN thing to do?

Wife: Get the slimfit TV lah. No need waste money.

(In my heart, I shout: Wife. I love you!)

I went to see this TV yesterday
It is Samsung HD LCD, and it was playing blu-ray disc on the blu-ray player, I couldn’t believe the image, it was crystal clear and vivid!

I am saving for a 32″ HD LCD now…the price is getting cheaper and cheaper..I hope I can get a branded 32″ back with less £400…hehe

winnie Yes. I didn’t expect her to give such answer. Really appreciative of her.

To everyone else. I am still hoping that the old TV can be fixed. Then I won’t need to buy a new TV.
