As I come from Ipoh, I guess I need to share this video.

ipoh mali(Click on the image to get the video)

Like it says in the video, be proud to be Ipoh Mali.

You can see quite a few local talents having their ‘guest appearance there’. (Aisyah Sinclair!)

For fans of Jaclyn Victor, you should not miss this video.

    Wah those breakdancers are impressive.

Wah spinning with the top of the head vertically gives me the chills. How much neck strength do you need for that!

I am not a cantonese, but I dare say my ’spoken cantonese’ is rather good (I give tuition for cantonese during my Uni)

I prefer the Muar boy one. Feel more genuine and with local flavor. This guy raps well, but he gives me the sense that he’s trying too hard.

cc, yes. I agree. muar boy is much better.
He didn’t manage to capture the spirit of Ipoh.

I like Ipoh Hor Fun :P
Is the dish truly from Ipoh?

FH, Ipoh Hor Fun is famous because the SOUP is different.
It is thick, as opposed to the hor fun elsewhere, which comes with lousy soup.
You should also try the HOR HEE from Ipoh (a variant)(not found elsewhere)

Malaysia is full of talented young people, just that the country doesn’t provide enough support to make them bigger, shame!

ipoh boy and muar boy, both rock! yeah!
