RAM oh ram (finale)

I got a call from the owner of the chain, 3 hours from my email. Wah! Efficient.

First, he apologized that I have bad service from his shop. Then he ask for my ‘warranty service number’, to look into the case. He promised to call me as soon as possible, after he looked into the case.

2 days later, and after a couple a phone calls between us, he finally told me that the manufacturer had sent the RAM to the wrong outlet. He concurred I should not have been made to wait so long.

Here come the tricky part.

He asked me whether I would want to take back my replacement RAM. I refused, without him compensating me.

I gave him three choices:

1) Full refund
2) Double the RAM capacity (1GB upgrade to 2GB)
3) Replacement RAM + compensation

We manage to agree on the 3rd option.

That is the RAM finally gotten back to me, after a wait of 11 weeks. I also got a RM150 cash voucher from this shop.

An end to my nightmare, finally.

    ECL Like I say, I don’t like to raise my voice. Lagi lah no need bang table.

    just me Believe me, for the past 5 years, I have so many of such incidences that I really think of opening a consulting firm, haha.

    didi Nah. With this, I already has 1.5GB
    Should be enough for the time being

    EricI am figuring out what peripherals to add.

    kok The skill is not born. It is because I got bullied all the years, that I learn the skill to turn the table around.
    I guess the RAM initially cost RM305.
