Favourite Food In Your State or Country - MeMe
This is really a MeMe week. ( I have to clear 3 Meme in this week. Really can faint after all these)
Got tagged by our hardworking student who is always organizing some events for the benefit of International students in Perth…. the not so complicated kokadoodle.
I am supposed to write what is my favourite food. Hmm…
As everyone wrote about ‘cooked food’, let me write something different.
My favourite ‘food’ is this.

Why do I like it so much?
I remembered some famous guy once said: Your most memorable food (and which you crave always) will be the food you taken when you were poor.
When I was young, and when mum was not at home, I will rummage through our food cupboard. If I can find bread, I will take it. If I find some creamcracker, I will take it.
Sometimes to my delight, I can find 豆沙饼 (dou sha bing) in the cupboard. That, I couldn’t finish alone. I would have to divide it into three equal share (3 kids in the family).
Fast forward. After I move to KL, I can hardly find any dou sha bing which has similar taste. All those in the market are tasting too … modern. They lack the 家乡 (village) taste，and clashed badly with my childhood memory.
So you can imagine my delight when I finally found the brand 三叔公。 It really produce the taste faithfully, just like old time.

I thought the Penang Dou Sha Bing is famous! Very tasty, I tried before. I like 三叔公 马蹄酥！ mmmm… delicious.
Oh, I love 豆沙饼!! My grandma used to buy for me when I was little. She passed away last year, and now everytime I have this delicacy, I think of her.
