Yeah, I guess it’s because of the inconvenience and privacy issue. I never have maid in my house before, I think I won’t be comfortable to locate a maid in my house “yet”. Moreover, you don’t know the maid at all, it’s your new maid, so “no guarantee” at all. haha~~

If it were me I take her lah, since I am at home and she can help me claen house a bit, lol. Oso my hubby not around I sian, no one to talk to, maid can tell me fascinating stories about her life.
After this episode, I found out a rule: For people who never had a maid, they will be pretty reluctant.
For those who had a maid, and currently without, they will be more than happy to take her

The agent suddenly turn her over to us, 2 days before we went for the trip. How are we going to make arrangement within such short period?
i also have this problem when the whole family is going away, no one wants to take my maid in for those few days. Pay them also dun wan. haiz… Singapore law is strict, the maid cannot anyhow work in another family, so the ppl afraid kena fine.
I know this suggestion came too late.. can send her back to the agent to “maid”-sit for you?
