Two different environments

Human, sometimes are really illogical.

When we enter her house, it is really clean. You can practically eat from the floor. Everything is arrange in nice order. Even the cushions on the sofa are arranged to suit a certain theme. The whole environment is fit to be a show house. A real tidy person, period.

show house

But …..

When we try to get a ride on her car, she quickly turn us down. She will apologise profusely, then give one thousand reasons for not being to ferry us back.

Guess what is the real reason?

You just need to peek into her car.

You will see stacks of files lying on the floor, some yester-years McDonald boxes scatered everywhere, plastic bags tucked here and there, coins dropped all over, used tissue papers chucked into all corners, with one or two (worn) blouses ontop of the files.

Gosh. If you are a messy person to start with, I guess I will accept it. But no. You are very tidy, if we just look at your house. If you have spend so much time cleaning your house, even down to matching all the themes and colour, what cause such drastic change when you enter your car?

Isn’t the car an enclosed space? The litter will cause more harm, in the car as compare to in the house, no?

I guess you have quite a number of such friends. Or maybe you are one of them? Care to share?

maybe even if she cleaned her car.. the next day will be messed up by the files again? sometimes tidying a car can take up longer time compared to the house.

maybe she has a part time maid who comes in everyday to clean and designers to match all her stuffs around..hmm..maybe all too clean, she needs some place where she can make a mess; where better than her ‘private little’ space where she can do whatever she likes?

Aiya sometimes if spend time to clean house then mah no time to clean car lor, or maybe the cleaning was done just prior to your arrival and if you look into her drawers, closet, cupboard, etc, you’ll find the same mess as the car. He He dis wan speaking from personal experience.
