This is a time, when I would like to pinjam Kenny Ng’s swearing.
This morning, when I woke up and gone to the front door, I saw a lot of wood splinters on the floor. Huh?
I knew something was not right. Then I look at the door. My iron door … wah … one big hole on the door.

How on earth did they do that? Must have taken a hell of strength. No, they didn’t use a blow torch, evidently.
Then they broke the wooden door, to reach the door knob.

Now, lets count the ‘damage’.
The buglar (s) is apparently a weird guy. He ran through our wallets (obviously), but he didn’t take our wallets with him! He only took away the cash.
Then, he took two of our handphones. Here is the joke: we had three handphones, but he only took two of them. Why? Apparently, the last phone is so outdated that probably he found it ‘undesirable’. Haha. Having outdated phone does have its advantage, eh?
Well, the first thing that comes to our mind is : Luckily he didn’t go upstairs! We were all sleeping upstairs, soundly.
He can take all the cash and valueble he want, and please leave us alone. For that, we must be thankful. Cash, can always be earn back. (And, we didn’t even has much cash at home!) As long as we are unharm, we will be grateful.
OK, now, we humbly invite everyone, to collectively curse the burglar(s) into oblivion…

*&^&%$%#^%$&%*(&()*_$$%$$*…..and then somemore *&^&^%^%%^#$%@$%#^$&^….and then his/her ancestors*&^&*^$$&%*^&)…have a break..have a kitkat..&*^^%$%$@$%#^%%&….enough anot?..
Sorry to hear about the incident — thank goodness they did not try to harm you or frighten you. Suggest you get one of those “embedded locks” that can only be opened with a key for your new door. (only keyhole visible from both sides)
Thank God you and family were not harmed. Reminds me of the time when burglars broke into my neighbour’s house and a few others down the street, one at a time.
Reserve your “cursing ” energy to make the police report and get a new, stronger grill gate?
DOBBS, thanks for the suggestion.
The ‘lock changed’ had also been suggested by the contractor who fixed the door just now.
Just me, had reported it at 8am. Apparently, the burglars also broken into another 4 houses, in this area, last night!
A spree of it, eh?
I think u have to plan of placing cctv or alarm system in your house…
Luckily no people harmed in this incident…
Hardly to find such a ” good hearted ” burglar nowadays…
consider him cursed:)
Just last week, a cousin’s house was broken into too. She was out for an hour to fetch her daughter and when they are back, the door locked was gone, strange thing is, the burgler did not go anywhere but just (directly into) her master bedroom to get cash and jewelleries. Strange and scary, isnt it? Seems as if he/she knows exactly when and what to do..They hv since installed an ADT alarm system in the house. Thank goodness that all of you and the kids are safe.
choochoo, thanks for coming.
And thanks for the curse, haha
winnie, yeah. They really know where to go. They didn’t even waste time looking through our drawers. Weird, eh?

haha..en…yesterday curse someone in eve’s post….now is yours.
I curse those burglar(s):
*fall into drain while motorcyling.(dun think they have car)
*Get caught while selling the handphones (police impersonate buyer and found your name inside, police know u!??)
*All and whatever shit go fully inside their mouth while they think they made a big business and laugh.
Enough?^^
I am sorry to hear this.
Thank god your family is safe. What bout the kids? Are they frighten?
If you have the IMEI of your lost phones, you can call the service provider and give them the IMEI, then the phones will be lock and won’t be functioning anymore.
OMG! hak sei ngor lar.
nasib baik, your family is unharmed.
Thanks everyone for your support.
The kids? Even adult sleep through the ordeal
Wah, so strong the burglar. You are quite lucky that no one get hurt and no important documents were taken.
Hmm… must be quite a one of a kind burglar.
Yeah, I always think that if the want cash, just go ahead and take. Don’t harm us. There’s an incident where a friend was rob at knife point on the street, they don’t just take her cash, they take the whole purse. And when she try to negotiate to have her documents back, they harm her. That one really need to be cursed at!
*note: not to have grill design like yenjai*
*note: not to have door design like yenjai*
Eh, old thing don’t go, new thing don’t come hor. Time to have new wrought iron grill and nyatoh timber wooden door!
U got a very kind burglar. I went through hell with my credit cards, change of all locks including car keys and alarm, IC, driving license etc. Count yrself lucky. Most important I am so glad yr family is unharmed.
I have since installed a dog :). My kid was traumatized and slept with a ruler in his hand for a few weeks.
Billion curses to all burglars in the land. There r jobs aplenty in the country.
Bengbeng, the ‘change of credit cards, IC, driving license’, I gone through it the last time I was a victim of snatched thief. 2 years ago.
But I guess the most heart breaking part will be … seeing your kid traumatized by such experience.
DOC!!!
I just read your blog!!!
Thank God you and family are safe!
Gosh…!
I wonder how they cut the hole without waking you guys up…
It’s really lucky that you & your family were not hurt, and only $$ was taken.
How come our society is so insecure, unsafe?
Oh dear, that was very close. I saw from news tht family mbrs was slashed in Penang!! Scary!
