Gardinia launched a new bread loaf last month.
“Someone” passed me a couple of loaf for me to try it out.

Supposedly this bread can even lower the level of your cholesterol. Wah! Such bold claim. (You got to justify it, right? Each loaf cost RM3.90)
Anyway, I am more interested in its taste.
Conclusion: I still prefer its Toastem.

lower the level of your cholesterol, and lower you cash level too.
Xpensive >
Toastem!! It used to be my staple diet.. every morning.
Hop over to ask permission to link you as one of my favorite “hawkers”, went thru all your post and discovered you seldom talk about food, so if it’s ok with you I will set up a Chinese tea shop for you instead at my kopitiam. Something like “Yenjai’s Flavorful Chinese tea”, if not ok please let me know, I’ll change it to whatever you want.
firehorse, it’s my honour.
Any topic will do, as you see fit ^-^
hmmmm….how does it reduce cholesterol leh?..i m still wondering.
Toastem is nicer! All this reduce cholesterol stuff sounds suspicious.
bread can make a person fat in no time.
Psyllium husk is the “new babe on the block” here…they have been adding it to cereals. Report studies that psyllium husk can help to reduce cholestrol too..wonder how it will taste if added to bread?
Winnie.. another benefit of psyllium husk: http://mott.blogsome.com/2007/01/03/how-mott-got-her-tummy-back/
I like toast ‘em but never toast them before. Wei, free publicity for them issit. RM3.90 not expensive la. If you do Mid Valley Jaya Jusco, they are selling a golden bread from Japan for RM19.90! That one they no gurantee you will die of high colesterol.
