Yesterday, I went out at around 3.40pm to run some errant. My nurse thought that I went to the bank.
At 4pm, a dispatch boy from the lab came to collect some blood samples. He told my nurse that there was a robbery at the Public Bank nearby. This got my nurse worried.
I came back later. My nurse asked: Where had you been? Which bank did you go to?
I was like, huh? I didn’t go into any bank at all.
Then only I noticed that there was about 5 police cars parked not far from my shop. There were also a whole bunch of uniform and plainclothes policemen. More interesting was the ‘crime-scene-tape’ winding all around the Public Bank.
Fuh. Narrow escape.
Fuh! Indeed.

Year-end robberies seem to be the norm….glad you were not in the bank at that time but come to think of it, we readers might get to read a description of a robbery in progress if you were indeed in the bank!
Make sure you got your alibi worked out when the polis come a-questioning
