Citibank Credit Card

I have received a Platinum Card from Citibank.

Apparently they decided to upgrade me from my current Gold card.

Good news? Not really. It only created some confusion for me.

citibank credit card

1) I have first-two-year waiver on my anual fee. Does that extend to my platinum card, should I decide to change?

2) What will happen to my existing redemption points? Auto transfer?

3) Will the supplementary card be upgraded free too?

Guess it raised more questions than any benefit that it seemed to bring. A call to their service centre only provide the “sorry, our officers are currently engage”. Duh.

anyway, better stick to one card. the rest just for stand-by.

my father also receive the Platinium Card from Citibank, and before that they also kept calling my father to upgrade the card to Platinium, but then my father ignored them. The subscription fees of platinium card is higher than the gold card, if im not wrong. Anyway, theres not much different between platinium and gold card though, its not that necessary for us to upgrade to platinium card, as we are still comfortable in using the gold card.
