I guess as we blog, we read plenty of blogs by others on a daily basis. (We can’t really hope for visitors, if we don’t visit some blogs by others, right?)
Obviously, some sites are more popular than others. Some particular blogs like chanlilian and nyonyapenang usually enjoy plenty of comments (responses) from others.
Sometimes, the responses can be so hilarious that they are worth more than the blog itself. (no offend to the bloggers. Your blogs are superb ) It makes me wonders sometimes, whether I go there for the blog or just to read those responses.
Now the million ringgit question by everyone: How to encourage your readers to response / comment?
I read the blog-post, and if it’s interesting, or i wonder what the readers think, i read the comments.

I think sincerity is the key (but what do I know I am a newbie to the blogging world). When I blog I am actually sorting out my own “garbage”, mental release. In the real world you can’t just go around blabbing things without hurting people or insulting them etc etc. I usually leave a comment if I have something worthwhile to say, not just for the sake of leaving a lamo comment like “Hi nice blog, come visit me lah” so that people will visit me back.
P/S As per hanneng’s question “Got free gift ah?” I oso want, one, hehe.

If I comment on a blog and I receive a response, that will encourage me to read the blog again.As a matter of interest, why do some people write blogs but don’t response to comments?

people go for FREE stuff..anything to do with FREE alot of people will rush for it hehe and i agree with ‘just me’ if some one leave a comment and yet the author dont response..gee..pls dont ask people to leave comment hor..
