Buy a new PC

I plan to buy a new PC soon.

I guess this question had been ask more than a few thousands time: Should I wait for the release of Windows Vista?

Or I should just buy the new computer without caring for it?

    definitely wait for the Vista, you dont want to regret later right?

    also, it is worth to check out the mac, trust me, the price isn’t as high as it was, for the quality and security, i definitely think it worth the extra RM

    Any idea when Vista will be out….I am also thinking of getting a new pc.

    Just me, it should be around Feb’07.
    The problem is, Microsoft is also infamous for their delay and rescheduling of product released

    Eric, I probably won’t buy a Mac. I am trying to migrate to Linux though

    Windows Vista just launched in Malaysia last Tuesday.

    yenjai, Linux is still running on PC right? I presume you could run bith window and linux on the same machine?

    are you sure? I haven’t heard of any launching of vista just yet, not even in US?

    I wouldn’t rush into getting Vista for 2 reasons — it requires a very high end PC to run it and it’s untried. Better let MS iron out the bugs first ;)

    Err.. i just found a newsletter from cnet which ended up in my spam box accidentally.. apparently vista is released.
