Lightning Arrestor

One of my machine refused to start this morning. After I few tries, I gave the company a call.

After looking at it, they pronounced it “dead”.

Cause of death: Strike by lightning.

Whoa. This machine cost me RM25,000! Luckily it is still under warranty. I better go and get a lightning arrestor for it, fast.

Wow! What’s that machine? Seems POWERFUL enough to cost you RM25k. You better buy insurance for that machine instead of lightning surge protector!:P

Kok, it is under lease. Thus it is insured fully. No worry.
It is also under warranty. No need to loose sleep over it

Haha. Hoiling, the gadget in the photo is a lightning arrestor, which probably cost less than USD50.
The Rm25K ‘fried’ gadget is much bigger equipment.
