Out of boredom, I went looking for photos of some really powerful machine guns.
The searches usually end with two models:
1) MK 19 40mm machine gun MOD 3
an air-cooled, disintegrating metallic link-belt fed, blowback operated, fully automatic weapon
2) M2 .50 Caliber machine gun

I don’t think anyone will doubt that these guns are extremely powerful. Even with these firepower, will anyone use it to shoot at a jet plane and hope to bring it down?
That super agent Ethan Hunt can even throw such a gun over a crack bridge! Duh! No wonder he is an Impossible agent.

Bernard, the MK19, if not mistaken, was originally design for used on a gunboat.
I wonder, to carry such a gun like M2, how much will the bullets weight? I mean enough to shoot … like 10 seconds?
