This song is made famous again by the movie Car (the scene where Ligthning Macqueen and Sally were overlooking the route 66 valley)

It vividly remind me of Kampar and Bidor, the once famous towns, which were now almost abandoned.

    sorry ah..may i know where is Kampar and Bidor?? Negeri Perak right??

    Yes. Kampar and Bidor (and Tapah) are towns between Ipoh and KL.
    Previously, they are famous for their food.
    Remember ‘chicken biscuit’ ‘bidor duck thigh’ those foods?

    Since the opening of highway, everybody bypass these towns (just like Radiator Spring).

    Hopefully with UTAR, Kampar can be revived.

    I didn’t know such a page existed.
    I have edited the wikipedia page, to add in the Kampar Chicken Biscuit and Kampar fishball noodle. :wink:

    The page for Bidor is not poorly written, but is almost non-existent! Real disgrace.
    I have almost rewritten the whole page.
