Korean Actress

Went to Ikano Power Centre yesterday.

There was a Korean fair in the lounge. They are selling Plasma TV from LG, washing machine from LG, and some DVD collections.

Interestingly, all the different stalls have something in common : ———-> this lady

No matter where you turn, be it promoting a washing machine or a plasma TV, her face will be plastered all over the stall.

I guess she has become a spokeswoman for all the Korean product?

yeah, lee young ae–that’s her name–is currently the spokesperson for LG Electronics. i think i worked on an LG press release some months ago, and that’s where I found out she just signed up for that promo contract for LG.

isn’t she nice? i personally *love* her.

do you mean jewel in the palace? or jang-geum? not really; i find the story somewhat off for my taste. but she’s in one of my favorite films, like park chan wook’s Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
[which you can see here: http://skirmisher.org/random-acts-of-strangeness/the-state-of-the-art/

frankly, sympathy for lady vengeance is a silly, over-the-top story. but it has its delightful moments, and of course, the light looks very good on her skin and face at certain angles. she’s one hot babe, even if she’s already 36 years old. =p

This actress starred in a very good Korean series. It was called Jewel in the Palace about the first Korean lady physician to the Korean emperor. Very good story based on Korean history - you can imagine how patriachial it was back in those days so the story is quite inspiring even for modern day feminists!!
