There was an explosion around 2pm.
The whole commercial block went through a power fluctuation immediately, for a couple of seconds.
I heard the sound clearly, even though my shop was 200 feet away.
After that, everybody was standing outside, looking at that particular shop. Nobody seemed to come down from the staircase (the? noise seemed to have come from upstairs). There was no smoke to be seen. No sign of fire.
Guess I would have to read the ‘gossip column’ tomorrow to know what had actually happened.
