A question strike me yesterday.
We hope that people come in throng to visit our blog. We wish that our counter will jump by the hundreds everyday.
Paradoxically, do we wish them to leave their comment in our blog? Do we wish to see one hundred strangers commentng on our way of life?
I read a blog written by an Australian Chinese yesterday. He was talking about his dinner with his family. I found it interesting, and left a comment.
I regretted after that.
Will he be offended by the comment from a total stranger?
What do you think?
I do welcome stranger left comment to my blog, but pls stick to the topic. If blogger don’t want msg from stranger, then they should turn-off the comment or only allows from registered member.
I like comments by strangers- as long as they are not snotty or mean. Blog friends (or real friends) who read often & comment can have more freedom in their opinions. I try & leave comments as often as I can.

I am always open and welcome strangers. I know what I post on the net might receive various opinions from different background, so I am ready.
Of course, I don’t like offensive or destructive comments… I’d love comments that point out where I need improvement, especially on the design and photography, it keeps me growing…
i like comment from strangers too .. crap or anything but not advertisement, haha
I agree with Karen, comments from strangers are often welcomed so long as they aren’t over critical or negative.
I love feedback on my posts, that’s why I have the comments enabled, and I suspect most bloggers do.

Currently 99% of the comments on my blog are spam advertisements… T_T

I welcome comments from whomever–good, bad, or neutral. I think it’s interesting to read other people’s points of view even if I don’t agree with them–otherwise I’d turn the comments off.
i would like to c ppl comments my blog,but not with any bad comment,cause i only use my blog to wrote out my feeling,i dun 1 2 c ohter ppl 2 comment about my lifestyle,if my fren(no matter fren in real life or just net fren,as long as they have a good relationship with me) they feel i do something wrong they’ll scold me or give me advise through other way,but not at my blog.

when ppl blog, they should be mentally prepared for positive and negative from anyone, anywhere in the world..if you prefer to just keep it to urself, then i would say, a diary is a much safer haven.
